破茧 6 weeks in cast & friends together

戴了6个星期的石膏，昨天终于取掉了。可怜的新生的皮肤，粉红色的嫩到可怕。突然想到SHE的Selina。。。希望她快点走过这痛苦的经历。回到我的瀚今，像小蚕褪掉茧，可是还要一段时间才能变成美丽的蝴蝶。还有一个弯弯的粉红色的小蛇爬在手肘部，其他部分的皮肤因为许久不见天日，也许因为妈妈太过急切地当天就试着清洗包在石膏里的皮肤，虽然只是温水和妈妈的手，稚嫩的皮肤也发红了。就连没有清洗的地方也有一些小小的泡泡出来，加上没有洗掉的死皮，摸起来粗粗的。伤口基本好了，皮肤很痒，白天不觉得，晚上睡的时候，妈妈就要不停得轻轻抚摸。。。 瀚今还要戴一段时间的手臂吊带，一个月后复查，再决定什么时候把钉子拿出来。。。我忍不住疑惑到时还要多一条伤疤吗？

去的时候忘了带相机，用手机拍了打开石膏的过程却找不到手机连线。。。特意打包了切开的石膏回来拍照留念。。。

瀚今前天晚上有些咳嗽，看了医生。却是自己决定吃吃贞霓给的保婴丹试试看。这两天就没有上学，妈妈也在家。今天下午约了我的两位老朋友带孩子出来玩，ChenYi 是许久不见的了，之前见过的时候好像还没有结婚，现在女儿5岁多，儿子2岁多。YinYin是较常见的，都是两个孩子的妈妈了。可惜有一点点赶，没有拍下我美丽的妈妈朋友们。一家一个小朋友代表了：Isabella 是在妹妹身后的小洋妞，和瀚今在一起画画的是Tze You。以后要常常相聚呀！

Han Jin's cast was removed yesterday, after a long 6 weeks living with it. The skin underneath the cast is so delicated and I simply washed gently using warm water but still it became reddish and had some blisters in places that I did not wash. The scar is young and pink, like a wiggling snake, hoping it becomes invisible when he grows up. My poor boy has suffered a lot from this incident and I do hope we learn something out of it.

I was at home these two days, and enjoyed a fair bit of time with my two babies. Brought Han Jin to the hospital yesterday morning, and a GP afterwards for his cough. Went to ICA with Jia Cheng to get his student pass in the afternoon, a fairly talktive young boy on the way, :), we got to know each other better and I hope we can foster the extended family bonding over time. Brought Mei Mei to her music class at KinderMusic this morning (again, I'd strongly recommend Teacher Huzzy at Kinder Music), and Mei believes an art piece in a nearby shop in Tanglin Mall is peacock :) I reckon it resembles a bit. Mei seems to be much more gifted in art and music than the mom. :) In the afternoon, we arranged a play date with some old friends: Yin Yin and Chen Yi. My two stay-at-home mom friends which I envy a lot, the luxury of time with kids and family. Both are very welled maintained and groomed :) A bit pity that it was a little rush as my two little tots woke up at 3:30pm and we went down Vivocity to meet the two mums and 3 kids (Tze You, Chen Yi's gal, 5+, a very cheerful young lady with mum's charming eyes; Isabella, Yin Yin's gal, a 3+ lovely blond who is more composed and self aware; I didn't got the name of Chen Yi's little boy at 2+ who is actively following the sister; and Yin's baby boy is at home waiting for mom's feed:).
