A Beaufort Hotel @ Sentosa 圣淘沙三天两夜

Kenny's company had the bi-annually management summit from 27 to 29 Jan at A Beaufort Hotel. Our family joined him for the hotel stay and enjoyed ourselves at Sentosa. In fact, he had been attending conferences all day long, and only joined us at the end of the day. So, Mummy took the two little monkeys with the help from Auntie Imelda ventured a little and had lots of fun, from the mere bonding time.

爸爸公司一年两度的管理会议又来了，这回是在圣淘沙的Beaufort 酒店。妈妈带着两个小宝贝在圣淘沙玩的乐开怀。

A Beaufort Hotel 百富大酒店

Mummy took leave from Wed onwards, and spent some sweet time with little Han Yue on Wed and Thurs before going to Sentosa in the evening of Thurs. We arrived at the hotel at around 7pm, and waited for daddy till 8pm to go for the musical fountain show 'Song of the Seas' at 8.40pm. Mei was scared by the loud music and smoky blue lights, and two of us went off half way. I have to admit that it is indeed a bit scary to watch smoke coming from a dark sea with blue lights hovering at the background. Han Jin finished watching the whole show but also commented that he didn't like it. So, not recommendable for family with young kids.

第一天：我们在27号傍晚到了酒店，等爸爸开完会，八点多去看海上音乐喷泉。妹妹有些害怕，我带着她先回酒店了。

Day 2: got up at around 8:30am. Had breakfast, and Han Jin did his Kumon. We explored the hotel a little bit, and noted that the swimming pool is 2.5m deep. I intended to write a summary for Beaufort at the end of the entry, but couldn't hold myself any longer. It is NOT a family friendly hotel. There is no kid's playground, no kids pool. It is ideal for couples as the landscape is huge and tranquil, known for its sprawling garden & lily ponds, the tiptop spa, and fine dining at a cliff overseeing the sea. All set for romantic astomphere. Recommended for couples but not family. For family, I'd suggest the Shangri-La's Rasa Sentosa hotel, where it is walking distance to beach, and having big kids fun pool and arts room to keep the young ones happy in the hotel.

Nevertheless, we still played a little along the pond side, and Han Jin carried Mei on his back. We then walked down the wooden broadwalk from the hotel to wait for the Beach tram.

第二天：早上吃完早餐，做完作业，我们在酒店玩了一小会儿。瀚今背着妹妹在走廊跑，当然阿姨在扶着了。然后，去酒店下面的海滩等海滩游览车。

The tram took us to Palawan Beach, where Han Jin and Han Yue played water. Han Jin was more adventurous into the seashore this time, while Mei Mei stayed back in the kid's play area, as her fine little feet were still not willing to touch the sands. We then went for the close encounter with reptile (a big lizard to me, and both Han Jin & Han Yue bravely touched the reptile). Mei was imitating how the reptile sticking out its tongue. At the Primate animal show, kids played while waiting for the show to begin, and we also took turns to play with Mummy's sun glasses. There was this lively host who was very good in engaging audience and acting really resembling his primate friend. Mei kept saying 'funny uncle, funny uncle'. Hush, dear, that's rude.

清晨的海滩很美，俩个小小子玩的很开心，臭美的妈妈在海风中玩自拍。又接连看了两场表演。瀚今瀚月都很勇敢的摸了大蜥蜴，解说员讲这是因为孩子们眼中的蜥蜴们都是来自动画片中的可爱形象，而我们大人却看多了恐怖的电影。。 看猴子们的表演也甚是有趣，也来看看我的两只小猴子吧，外加妈妈这只大猴子:)

After a sound nap, we drove to Resort World Sentosa and had dinner there. I planned to go into the Universal Studio for a look but we arrived at 5:30pm with it closing at 7pm, and there were no after hours (7pm to 10pm) sightseeing on the day. So, we just walked around to meet some big puppet, the God of Fortune and made cute faces, both Mei and Mummy.. :)

A bit disappointed with the Universal Studio, we headed to the Underwater World to catch a view of the fishes, which turned out to be quite welcomed by the little ones. Mei is very fluent in singing 'Fishes, fishes where you are', while Han Jin enjoyed very much the touch pool. 8pm plus, we drove back to hotel and met daddy at the lobby. Mei went back to hotel room for a better sleep (Han Jin took the big bathtub as a mini swimming pool the night earlier, and splashed water till late that Mei wasn't able to sleep at her usual 9pm). Three of us then took the bus to RWS again to watch the Lake of Dreams show, and Han Jin took a few photos for his beloved parents :)

睡过下午觉，去圣淘沙名胜世界玩，有遇到财神爷，得到金元宝的:)。后来又去了海底世界，小朋友们很开心的，妹妹会唱小鱼的歌，哥哥逐个儿去摸小鱼儿，海星和stingray. 八点多钟，等爸爸回来，妹妹先回去睡觉，我们三人去看梦之湖的表演，瀚今给爸爸妈妈照了美美的照片:)

Day 3: Routine breakfast and Kumon. Then we went to the corner of the swimming pool to use the hotel facility for the first time. Look at Auntie Imelda in the sweet swimming wear, an early birthday gift from me. After an hour, we went back to the hotel to pack, and there was a peacock coming to bid us farewell. Oh, the other thing about the hotel, there were a lot of peacocks in the compound. When we drove the other day, I waited about 3 minutes on the road for a cohort of ten over peacocks crossing the road gracefully.

Au Revoir, A Beaufort Hotel. Home, Sweet Home again!

第三天：例行早餐，作业，在泳池玩了一个多小时，就收拾行李回家了。有孔雀来送行的:), 这里真的很多孔雀，在驾车去名胜世界的途中，我有等一群十多只的孔雀优雅地穿过马路。
